  1. Keep healthy snacks in reach.

When it comes to snacking, most people tend to grab whatever is most convenient. Keeping healthy snacks where they’re visible and easy to reach will make the members of your household more likely to choose them when they’re hungry, so make sure there are always healthy options available!

  1. Eat as a group.

Eating meals together is a great way to help your entire household embrace healthier eating habits, especially if you have kids. Your children will eat what you eat, so help them start building healthy habits while they’re young. Set a good example for them and help them learn why they should make healthy choices as you enjoy meals together.

  1. Work on healthy habits together.

Each month, pick one healthy habit to focus on as a group. Set a goal that you can all work to achieve, such as being physically active three or four times each week. If you all reach the goal you set, celebrate with a fun activity or a healthy treat!
