Use the Transformation Kit again.
If you haven’t reached your weight loss goals, using the Transformation Kit again is a great option. It will help you use the healthy habits you’ve formed so you can continue working toward optimal health. And because you’ve already done it once, you know what to expect so you can hit the ground running!
Transition to maintaining your results.
If you’re at your goal weight, you’re going to want to continue your healthy lifestyle so you maintain your results. If you go back to your previous lifestyle, you’re going to find yourself back where you started!
To maintain your results, continue to focus on eating the healthy options found in the food lists in your BBS brochure. You may want to increase the size of your portions if hunger is an issue and add in a portion of carbohydrates on your Protein Days, but sticking to the meal plan for the most part will help you maintain the progress you’ve made.
You should also consider adopting an exercise routine if you haven’t done so already. Physical activity is an important part of optimal health because in addition to burning calories, exercise helps you maintain your cardiovascular health, build and maintain lean muscle mass, develop strong bones, control your weight, and even boost your metabolic rate. If you’re not used to exercising regularly, start out slow and build up to exercising 35-40 minutes three to five times a week!
Set some new goals.
Whether or not you’ve reached your weight loss goal, it’s a good idea to set some new goals as you move forward. Doing so will help you continue to take care of your health and improve your lifestyle as a whole.
Not sure where to start? You could evaluate your first twenty-eight days on the BBS to look for areas in which you can improve. For example, do you want to do more meal prep in advance so it’s easy to put together your meals? Would you benefit from trying new recipes to add some variety to your diet?
You could also look outside of the Better Body System for inspiration. Maybe you’d like to focus on some fitness-related goals, such as training for a 5K or taking a new exercise class. Maybe you want to start a garden so you can grow your own healthy food. Maybe you want to start reading more or learn a new skill. It doesn’t matter what your goals are; just choose something and start working toward it!
