1. What would I do with a million dollars?
This question is a great way to learn more about yourself and what you prioritize. If you had a million dollars, and it all had to be spent within a certain amount of time, what would you spend it on? And what does that say about you?
2. What would your bibliography be called?
If somebody wrote out the story of your life, what would the title be? This can be as short or as long as you’d like. It is your story, after all! This is a great way to learn more about yourself, in fewer words.
3. What was the hardest part of this week? What was the best?
This sort of question is perfect for assessing your feelings for that week, whether good or bad. This could even be done every week as a regular exercise! Then you can compare weeks and see how your life has changed or how you have grown. It can also help you reflect on previous experiences.
4. What are five things you can’t live without?
This journal prompt is a great way to get to know yourself better. Try to think of things no one else would answer. You might have to listen to your favorite song once a day, or drink ice water daily. Whatever your list might be, it will be unique to you!
5. How are you currently sabotaging your goals, and what can you change?
This prompt is perfect for assessing your current goals and habits. Take a look at what you want to accomplish, and anything that might be preventing you from accomplishing it. Are you setting aside the proper time to work on your goal? Are you avoiding it in some way? Take some time to write it all out.
