A Guide to the BBS for Vegetarians

At Yoli, we often get asked how the Better Body System can work with a vegetarian lifestyle. We want everyone to feel great about transforming their lives, so here’s a guide to help vegetarians succeed on the BBS!

Protein

Protein is a key component of the Better Body System meal plan, and it’s especially important to focus on getting enough protein when you’re a vegetarian. Fortunately, there are many healthy, vegetarian protein sources that will fit in perfectly with the Better Body System!

Here are the vegetarian BBS-approved protein options you’ll find in the BBS brochure:

  • YES
  • Cheese
  • Chickpeas
  • Cottage cheese
  • Edamame
  • Eggs
  • Greek yogurt
  • Hummus
  • Lentils
  • Tempeh
  • Tofu

Of course, life on the BBS isn’t all about protein. You’ll also want to make sure you’re choosing complex carbohydrates over simple carbohydrates and drinking enough water and your favorite Yoli drinks. Most vegetarians are used to eating plenty of fruits and vegetables, so that should be a pretty easy adjustment for you to make!
