Healthy Halloween Treats Your Kids Will Love

Halloween is just a couple of weeks away, and there’s nothing better than making treats with your kids.  Here are some fun, healthy Halloween treat ideas that your whole family will enjoy!

Jack-O’-Lantern Fruit Cups

You’ll need: Oranges and berries.

Cut the top off of each orange and scoop out the fruit. With a knife, carve jack-o’-lantern faces into the oranges and then fill with mixed berries for a fun Halloween fruit cup!


Dragon Eggs

You’ll need: Eggs and food coloring. We used red food coloring, but any color will look great!

Hard-boil the eggs and let them cool. Lightly tap the eggs with a spoon to crack all over. Place them in a plastic bag. Add in a few squirts of food coloring and ensure that the eggs are covered. (Note: the eggs don’t need to be submerged, so don’t fill the bag. Just rub the food coloring over each egg!) Seal the bag and leave for thirty minutes, and then peel the eggs. And that’s it—you have dragon eggs!


Monster Eye Punch

You’ll need: Fun, kiwis, and blueberries.

Mix Fun in a punch bowl. Peel and slice kiwis. Make a cut in the center of each slice and insert a blueberry to create a monster eye. Place monster eyes in each glass, fill with Fun, and serve cold!
