When you have a goal or a dream, it can sometimes be difficult to achieve. When you find yourself stuck, how do you keep moving forward? Motivation plays a big part in our accomplishments, so it’s important to keep it close to us. Today we’re going to talk about how to stay motivated.
GET AN ACCOUNTABILITY BUDDY
One of the best ways to stay motivated is making sure we have other people helping us out. Having someone who can act as an accountability partner will not only help you stay motivated, it will also help you keep your goal. Find someone who you are close to that has like-minded goals. REFLECT ON PREVIOUS SUCCESSES
If you’re having a hard time staying motivated, now might be a good time to reflect on past success. It can be hard when we’re in the middle of an objective to focus on the end goal, but it’s important to remember that you’ve done it before.
Take some time to write out what you’ve accomplished in the past and how it made you feel. Reflect on the whole journey, not just how it felt to finally earn what you wanted. Chances are, you probably felt just as unmotivated at some point in that journey as you might right now. But, you didn’t give up, and you were rewarded for it.
KEEP YOUR GOAL IN MIND AT ALL TIMES
Another great way of staying motivated is by keeping your goal in mind throughout the day. You can do this by repeating affirmations, hanging up reminders, writing motivational statements on your mirrors, sending reminders to yourself, and more!
