We hope all of you are doing the Better Body Resolution with us! This is a great way to start 2015 on a high note and get started on your journey toward optimal health. If this is your first experience with the Better Body System, you’re probably incredibly excited…and maybe just a little bit nervous. Well, don’t worry. Anyone can be successful with this program, and we believe in you!
Here are a few tips to help you as you begin your transformation with the Better Body System!
Take Before Pictures
One of the best ways to track your progress with the Better Body Resolution is to take photos every week to see how your body is changing. You’ll need the photos to win the BBR Contest, but they’ll also show you that your hard work is paying off. Take a photo now, if you haven’t already, and use it for your before picture. You’ll love having it to compare as you transform!
Planning your protein snacks and meals ahead of time will help you stay on track. If you work or are out of your house all day, make your protein snacks the night before or in the morning so you don’t get caught unprepared. Your BBS Brochure has examples of good protein snacks, and you can find healthy meal-day recipes on our blog and Facebook page!
It’s important to stay hydrated as you follow the Better Body System. A good way to tell how much water you should be drinking is to divide your weight by two. That’s the number of ounces of water you should be drinking every day. For example, if you weigh 150 pounds, you should be drinking 75 ounces of water each day. Stock up on water bottles and always carry one with you, and you’ll have no trouble getting enough to drink.
As your body adjusts to the Better Body System, you may find yourself feeling a little tired or rundown. This is totally normal and will ease as your body becomes accustomed to the system. In the meantime, take a few days off of your exercise regimen and make sure you get enough sleep at night. This will help you feel good as you get used to being on the BBS.
