GETTING READY FOR THE NEW YEAR
The new year is only a few weeks away! What are you doing to prepare? Knowing that 80% of New Year’s resolutions fail, it’s important to be sure that you are ready in advance. Today we’ll be sharing tips on how to make sure your new year is a success!
Set Clear Goals
When making resolutions, it’s important to ensure that your goals are detailed and clear. Without specific plans, you won’t be able to create a good game plan! By listing the exact goal, when you’d like to accomplish it, and the steps you’ll take to get there, you’ll set yourself up for greater success.
For example, instead of saying, “I want to work out more often,” say, “I will workout at least five times a week consistently before the end of the year. I will do this by getting a gym membership and finding a workout buddy.” The second goal is more clearly defined and has detailed steps that will set you up for greater success.
Less is More
When setting out to make this decade a great one, it’s important to remember that less is sometimes more. While setting goals is never a bad thing, you risk overwhelming yourself if you try to set too many. Try to focus on one goal in different aspects of your life. For example, physical health, emotional health, career, and family are all great categories to set goals in! By ensuring that you have one detailed, well-defined goal in each area, you have a better chance of not only succeeding, but helping yourself become a more well-rounded individual!

DECLUTTER YOUR SPACE
We’ve all heard of spring cleaning, but don’t you think you should start out the new year in a better space? Take some time in the next few weeks to organize your life! Get rid of junk you no longer use, clean out that closet that has been bothering you for a while, or even deep clean all of your carpets! No matter what you do, by taking the time to improve your space, you’ll start the new year off in a better place.
