How to Take a Good Before and After_Thumb

Before and Afters

Taking before and after pictures is an important step for your transformation. Once you’ve started seeing progress, you’ll want to be able to look back and see how far you’ve come!

Use these guidelines for the best results:

  • Take three pictures: one from the front, one from the side, and one from the back.
  • Make sure you can see your whole body in your pictures.
  • Pick an uncluttered spot in front of a plain-colored wall.
  • Wear clothing that is form-fitting. Loose clothing will make it more difficult to see your progress.

If you’ve already started your transformation and you didn’t take before pictures, you still have options! If you’re a week or two into your physical transformation, start taking pictures now. They’ll still serve as good reference points as you continue to work toward optimal health. If you’re further along, you can also use pre-transformation photos to serve as your before pictures.

Once you’re ready to take your after picture, there are a couple of things to keep in mind. First, make sure you’re following the guidelines above. Second, try to keep your two pictures as similar as you can. This will give you the most accurate comparison. And finally, make sure you smile!

Don’t forget to submit your before and after pictures on the BBR contest post on our Facebook page for your chance to win. For more tips for your transformation, subscribe to the blog!
