One of the best parts of transforming your life is looking back and seeing how far you’ve come, and the best way to do that is to track your progress. Here’s why tracking your progress matters!

Tracking Your Progress

Tracking your progress is important for a couple of reasons. First, it helps you understand where you are in your journey to optimal health. If you aren’t consistently keeping track of your progress, you may struggle to accurately assess your efforts.

Tracking your progress also helps you stay motivated to maintain your healthy lifestyle. Once you see yourself taking steps toward your goals, you’ll want to keep up your hard work!

Measurements

If you’re using the Transformation Kit to lose weight, you’ll want to track two things: weight and inches. Most people focus solely on the scale, but that doesn’t always tell the full story. A lot of people will have a week or two where their weight stays about the same, but they lose inches. That’s why we recommend tracking both—it gives you a better idea of how your body is changing!

Every week, you’ll want to take measurements of your arms, waist, hips, and thighs. You can use the helpful chart in your 28-Day Transformation brochure to keep track of your measurements and see how they change over time!

Pictures

In addition to tracking your measurements, taking pictures is a valuable way to see your progress. A lot of people shy away from taking before pictures, but believe us: you’re going to want to be able to look back and see how far you’ve come!

As you begin using the Transformation Kit, you’ll want to take three pictures: one from the front, one from the back, and one from the side. Wear clothes that are form-fitting rather than loose, and stand in front of a plain, uncluttered background.

Still not sure about taking before pictures? Keep in mind that you don’t have to share them unless you want to! A lot of people share their before pictures once they’ve reached their goals, but you’re certainly not obligated to. You can take them with absolutely no intention of ever showing it to anyone else. The important thing is to have a picture to reference. Even if you never share yours, you’ll want to have the opportunity to look back on it and see how far you’ve come. Sometimes, you may not even realize how different you look until you’ve seen your before pictures!
