Today, we’re excited to feature someone who has transformed their life using the Better Body System! We first came across Becky Atkins’s story when she participated in one of our Facebook contests, and we were so inspired that we wanted to learn more about her Yoli journey. We reached out to Becky, and this is what she had to say!

When did you start with Yoli?

I started Yoli in March of 2014.

What made you decide to get started? 

I saw my friend Kasey Schiano di Cola posting on Facebook about Yoli and how it was helping her friends and family gain health and lose weight. So I reached out to her to find out more info and see if it could potentially help me. I decided to get started with Yoli because I needed the change my eating habits and get healthy. I was struggling with emotional issues, had no energy, and life was just black and white. I had lost who I was and it was taking a toll on my ability to be a mom and a wife.

What is your favorite thing to eat on Protein Day? What about Meal Day?

My favorite Protein Day meal is grilled chicken over a bed of leafy greens. My favorite Meal Day meal is steak, brown rice, and broccoli.

What is your favorite Yoli product?

This is always a tough question to answer. I like Passion because it gives me long-lasting energy, but I also like the protein shakes (YES). I love that it has a lot of nutritional value. We call them our happy shakes.

What obstacles did you encounter on the BBS and how did you overcome them?

I had to figure out how to overcome my sweet tooth and other food cravings. I also had to cook a little differently and be creative in how to cut out processed, sugary, and extra carb foods. I really relied on my sponsor, other Yoli customers and Members, and Yoli support groups on Facebook. I had to branch out and try new recipes.

What helped you be successful on the BBS?

The support from other Yoli members and support groups was amazing. It was great to know that I had people around me to uplift and encourage me while making a healthy lifestyle change.

What advice would you give to someone starting out on the BBS?

Make small changes and set small goals. Do not focus on the number on the scale; focus on the way you feel internally and the way your clothes are fitting. Be patient. Your body needs time to heal from the inside out. This is your journey so don’t compare yourself to others. Love your own journey.

How has your life changed since you started your transformation?

My life has changed tremendously. I have more energy, confidence, and self-esteem. But more importantly I can finally say that I love who I am and who I have become. I feel as though I’m finally living life in color and to my fullest ability. I am the mother and wife that God has intended for me to be. I wake up every morning with energy ready to face my day. I’m able to keep up with my kids, housework, and other daily activities. Thank you Yoli for giving me a second chance at life. I feel extremely blessed and grateful.
